It was supposed to be a semi-realistic dog for my next drawing but I got carried away with details and it doesn't suit the style of the drawing anymore so I decided to make a separate picture of it instead.

It's Yuuko, my doggie when she was a puppy. As a reference photo I used photo I took of her 3 years ago. You can see the original photo on my another account: [link]

I spent a lot of time on this one, it was hard to draw her fur because it has more colours than the ones I drew before. Also, it's such a long time since I went for a realistic look and a first time when I used digital media to do so. I wonder why it's so much easier to draw realistic animals for me than the ones I do for semi-realistic, anime-like pictures.

Big thankie to my mom who helped me to notice some mistakes which were spoiling the picture.

Concerning my next picture, the one which was supposed to be with this dog: I will try to finish it soon.

Credits: I used brush made by especially the kind of splattered dots for the are around nose and eyes
